Integra will stand...

Uploading art again... does this mean I'm back? I'm not sure, actually, I'm just sort of easing myself in and seeing how it feels... basically I'm being a selfish deviant atm. >.<

Integra's really a character from Hellsing (OVA AND MANGA. OVA AND MANGA) that's grown on me. I defs ship AxI and one reason that I love Integra is that she's one of the few genuinely strong female characters I've see in manga/anime. Many female characters feel the need to either harness or erase their sexuality in order to be powerful in a male dominated society, and that is evident in the way Integra deals with the round table conference, but also her interactions with Alucard unmistakably identify her as a relatable truly female character.

I've been working on this drawing for a while just because it's on a much bigger scale than what I'm used to working with. The canvas is bigger, I actually did a background, the coloring is much more detailed than usual and I actually almost... ALMOST... drew a fullbody (haha).

Long term projects are gratifying when you finish, but its annoying to work on them in their finishing stages and see all the errors you made before (too broad brush strokes) but it's not like I wanted to go back and redo the whole drawing. >.> As a consequence, I feel that this drawing's a little sloppy, you probably have to download for fullsize since it's pretty big, but IDK if that's advisable. Sort of looks nicer zoomed out like this. (order of drawing went something like: face, hair, pants, background, coat, shirt, belt, glasses, sword)
